Following extensive brain surgery, Craig came back to school. We were all scared that he might hurt himself, somehow, but he took it all in his stride. However, in my English classes - & probably in others too, he would constantly lean back in his chair & I was terrified he’d fall & bang his head! “Craig, sit UP!” became my constant nag. I solved the problem eventually, by sitting him at the very back of the room, right up against the wall with the desk pushed hard against his tum. He couldn’t rock backwards then! Such fond memories x
